Meet the Artist

Born in the USA, and now permanently based in the Haute Savoie; Lisa Cirenza has lived, taught, learned, and examined life on 3 continents, often through the eyes of her 4 children, her dogs, and her paintbrushes.

She believes passionately in the powers of creative thinking to help solve some of today’s most pressing challenges. However, in our world of devices, and data-centric living, we have little space nor time to nourish our creative sides—and solutions often escape us. By assisting people to see through the lens of creativity, and through exploring creative pursuits; she helps people navigate with a view of the entire forest, avoiding getting lost amongst the trees.
She has lectured and taught workshops on creative thinking and methods globally, for Apple (in San Francisco and London), Barclays HQ (London), Stanford University (USA), ESCG (Paris), many other schools, organisations, and universities, and at Tikehau Capital (Paris).

Her artwork and teachings seek to offer the participant a creative pause, a moment to question, to appreciate, to challenge our perspectives, and most of all to have fun.
Her works have been exhibited at Miami Basel, the Venice Biennale, museums in China and Japan, galleries in NYC, Paris, Edinburgh, London, and Silicon Valley. Here in France, she has exhibited with the Salon Nationale des Beaux Arts, Salon des Artistes Français (at the Grand Palais in Paris), and with the Salon d’Automne, of which she has been a Sociétaire for many years.
Dr. David A. Salomon, Director, Office of Research and Creative Activity, Christopher Newport University.
"Lisa lives by Henri Matisse’s reminder that “creativity takes courage,” approaching her practice with equal parts intellect and imagination. Her work reflects a lifelong effort to decode the mysteries of existence and to offer balance, insight, and hope in a troubled world. What makes collaborating with Lisa especially meaningful is her openness—she welcomes creatives and non-creatives alike, sharing her gifts with generosity and an eagerness to inspire."
Sam, iPad Workshop, California
“I loved the workshop! It was so much fun! I would definitely sign up for workshops with Lisa, eager and interested in trying different painting techniques."
Talia, Apple workshop
London, UK
“workshop was original & motivating. Lisa has had a family, moved many times, and yet continued to pursue a career and a passion, and seized opportunities in life. This seems a very good balance of life, an inspiration for many of us. 10/10.”
